Select the contents of the box below, Copy, then Paste to your email signature.
3. Best practice for email signature installation
- Open Outlook.
- Go to Outlook > Preferences > Signatures.
- Delete your existing email signatures including any AIM signatures you've already installed.
- Close and completely exit Outlook.
- Select and copy your custom signature from above.
- Open Outlook.
- Go to Outlook > Preferences > Signatures.
- Add/+ a new signature. Name it.
- Paste the new signature into the signature window. Activate it by selecting the checkbox.
- Select "Default Signatures". Mark new signature as default.
- Close preferences. Re-start Outlook. You're all set.
- Select and copy your custom signature from above.
- On your iPhone go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature
- Paste your new AIM signature into signature window.
Note: You'll notice that your iPhone removes some
formatting from your AIM signature.
- To restore your signature's formatting, SHAKE your iPhone. A notification window will pop up. Select "Undo".
This will undo the iPhone default formatting, and restore your AIM signature formatting.
- Close preferences. You're all set.
- Select and copy your custom signature from above.
- Open Outlook and go to File > Options.
- Select Mail from the list of options on the left, then click Signatures on the right.
- You can either update your existing signature by selecting it, or click New to create a new signature and name it.
- Paste your new AIM signature into the Edit Signature window.
- If you have more than one email account installed, select the account you would like to associate with
this signature from the drop-down on the top-right of the window. You may also choose to use this signature
for new messages, as well as with replies/forwards, but simply selecting the signature name in the drop-downs shown.
- Click OK and you're all set.
